Within a 30-minute drive of Bradstock Barn and Stables you can Go Ape in the treetops, make a splash at the National Water Sports Centre and try mini golf, rock climbing and archery at the Holme Pierrepoint Country Park. You can head to Nottingham and visit the castle and the caves or hit the Roxy Ball Room for karaoke, ten pin bowling, pool and more. Or you can spend a happy afternoon wine-tasting at the Hanwell Wine Estate. That’s just a flavour of what makes this a great location for group holidays.
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Bradstock Barn & Stables just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the property. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (12 noon for the Stables). Guests are welcome to move over to the Stables after checking out of the Barn and enjoy the rest of the morning there.
There is parking for 6 cars at the property. Up to 10 cars can be parked if some cars block each other in and park on the grass.
Children are very welcome at Bradstock Barn & Stables. There are lots of child-friendly activities nearby. Please note travel cots, highchairs and toys are not provided and parents should supervise children at all times around the hot tub.
Hen parties are allowed, but sorry we're not able to accept stag party bookings at this property.

The dining table in the Barn seats up to 10 guests and the dining table in the Stables seats up to 8 guests. A pop-up table seating an additional 10 guests can also be added to the Barn so up to 20 guests can dine together.
Yes, you can order online with any of the main supermarkets for a delivery direct to the property. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Perkins Bar & Bistro, Plumtree (15 minutes' drive)
Based in a beautifully converted railway station in Plumtree. Serving a combination of modern British and classic bistro dishes for over 30 years, the food is superb. Highly recommended.
The Griffin Plumtree, Plumtree (5 minutes' drive)
A traditional English country pub offering the very best of locally sourced produce. They serve traditional pub favourites as well as an a la carte menu. Excellent service and food. Highly recommended.
The Generous Briton, Costock (5 minutes' drive)
A small and recently refurbished country pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Check in advance to ensure they are serving food on the day you intend to visit.
The Star Inn, West Leake (20 minutes' walk)
A very friendly, traditional country pub. If you're looking for a picturesque walk, the walk from the property to this country pub is wonderful and takes approximately 20 minutes. Whilst it serves food, we recommend it predominantly because of its wonderful atmosphere and drinks menu.
The nearest train stations are Nottingham (10.5 miles / 20 minutes), East Midlands Parkway (6.5 miles / 13 minutes) or Loughborough (6.4 miles / 18 minutes).
The nearest airport is East Midlands (10.4 miles / 19 minutes).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Bradstock Barn & Stables. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
