Bradstock Barn & Stables Hero 1

Bradstock Barn & Stables Heart of England

Lovingly restored retreat with spectacular views

If you yearn for the restorative peace of the Great British countryside and the luxury of thoughtfully converted historic buildings, Bradstock Barn and Stables is for you. Perched on a Nottinghamshire hilltop, it affords panoramic country views, while inside, pristine white walls are the backdrop to exposed brickwork and original beams dating to the late 1700s.

The Barn, sleeping up to 10, is dominated by an open plan kitchen-diner with an oak dining table and space to entertain. The cosy living room has a log burner, Smart TV and sofa bed, doubling as sleeping quarters for the night owls. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a family room, all with beautiful views. The luxury family bathroom, with slate tiles, features a large bath and rainfall shower.

The Stables, also sleeping up to 10 guests, has a large, light-filled kitchen-diner and a first floor living room with apex windows which take in the great views. This huge room is another space for entertaining, while the two comfy sofas convert to double beds at night. The master bedroom is on this floor too, and there are two further ensuite double bedrooms on the ground floor.

In the south-facing gardens, enjoy morning coffees and evening meals beside the flower garden, and let the children run wild on the three-acre field as you sink into the hot tub. Meanwhile, if you are the chef, help yourself to seasonal, organic fruit and veg from the vegetable patch, including asparagus in the spring and apples in the autumn.

With bridleways and walking routes from the door and Nottingham only 20 minutes away, Bradstock Barn and Stables combines peace and tranquility with the option to hit the bright lights of the city.
