Colmers Rectory is ideally situated in a quiet rural village, with so much to see and do within a five-minute walk. There’s a wonderful village pub, farm shop, café, hair and beauty salon, art gallery and garden shop, clothes and jewellery, an animal park, pottery and more! The lovely market town of Bridport is less than two miles away by car while some of the fabulous beaches of the UNESCO listed Jurassic Coast are only five minutes’ drive away. Try Eype or West Bay (the latter famous for its starring role in the hit TV drama Broadchurch). Lyme Regis is also close by and offers a great day out.
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Colmers Rectory just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
There is parking for 11 cars at Colmers Rectory. There is also plenty of road parking right in front of the house.
2 well-trained dogs (aged 2-10) are allowed at Colmers Rectory. Dogs are only allowed in the downstairs areas.
Children are very welcome at Colmers Rectory. Two travel cots and two highchairs/bumbos are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). There is also one cot bed (sleeps a child up to 6 years old).
The dining room has 3 large foldable circular tables can seat up to 32 guests.
Hen parties are permitted but stag parties are not allowed.
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Please note, the owners live in a self-contained wing of the house. This has completely private access, grounds and parking and has no shared facilities with the main house.

The nearest airports are Exeter (33 miles), Bristol (72 miles) or Southampton (73 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Colmers Rectory. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
