With five luxuriously appointed bedrooms, all with views of the Lake or Lakeland fells, this handsome stone mansion is perfect for an intimate get-together of up to 10 friends or family. A hamper of local produce in the kitchen, free wood for the three log burners, and a warm welcome to children and dogs tell you that hospitality lies at the heart of Beckstone. Relax and socialise in the spacious drawing room, elegant dining room and cosy library. Conjure up meals to remember in the well-equipped kitchen, with its Rangemaster professional double cooker and Samsung double fridge freezer. Watch your favourite films in the cinema room with 75-inch screen and surround sound, or play pool, snooker or table football in the games room. Outside, the terrace and lawns are surrounded by a 470-acre estate, and a 10-minute walk takes you to the viewpoint on Brant Fell, where the Lake District sparkles below you. Yes, up to 2 well-behaved pets are allowed at Beckstone. There is a charge of £5 per dog. Dog beds, dog towels and dog treats are provided. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, in the bedrooms or on furniture in the property.
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Beckstone, and check out is at 10am.
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £750 during your stay at Beckstone. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
The dining table at Beckstone can seat 12 guests comfortably.
