Until recently, Plas Bodegroes was a luxury hotel and it shows in the attention to detail, quality and comfort that infuses these restful interiors. Gather your clan in the drawing room, where plentiful sofas and a cosy open fire set the mood. The baby grand piano is a delight for the musicians among your party and - for the less musically talented - it can play itself! If movies and books are more your thing, the library and TV room is equally inviting.
Meals are the highlight of any holiday and the kitchen at Plas Bodegroes is worthy of a Michelin-starred chef - we can say that with confidence because a Michelin-starred chef designed it! Among the roll call of high-tech appliances, there is an ice cream machine, a KitchenAid professional mixer and a KitchenAid smoothie maker. It’s time to unleash your culinary creativity - or hire in a chef, who will love you forever when they see the kitchen.
There’s room for everyone around the dining table, and the floor-to-ceiling chilled wine cabinet is to hand to keep the conversation flowing. Step through the French doors to a magical courtyard for summer barbecues.
Upstairs, across two floors, the ensuite bedrooms boast Egyptian cotton sheets, TVs and garden views. From queen-size beds to twin rooms, from junior suites to attic rooms, from sunken baths to power showers, there’s something to please every guest. There’s also two bedrooms in the annexe, just across the courtyard.
The changing seasons at Plas Bodegroes are at the heart of its appeal. Plas Bodegroes is in a fabulous location, just a mile from the beach, on the Llyn Peninsula. It is a short drive from the buzzy, upscale seaside resort of Abersoch, where you can go boating and surfing or simply spend a lazy day on the beach. The peninsula has many other lovely Blue Flag beaches to discover too. Head back up the peninsula and you are in Eryri (Snowdonia), with its mountains, lakes and forests, for the ultimate outdoor adventure holiday. The must-see Italianate town of Portmeirion is close enough for a day trip, as is the world-famous Snowdon Mountain Railway.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Plas Bodegroes just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Plas Bodegroes. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings and must sleep in the boot room. Please be very aware of the sheep in the fields – there is no fence, so do not let your dog cross the ha-ha.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Asda, Tesco or Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining room table seats up to 24 guests comfortably. There is also a table in the kitchen that can seat up to 10 guests.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Plas Bodegroes One travel cot and one highchair are available on request (please bring your own cot linen).

What is the nearest train station?
The nearest train station is Pwllheli (1 mile) - branch line from Shrewsbury. The nearest main line station is Bangor (29 miles).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for up to 20 cars at the property.

What is the nearest airport?
The nearest airports are Liverpool or Manchester (both approx. 120 miles away). There is a private airport at Caernarfon (18 miles).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Plas Bodegroes. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

Are additional day guests allowed?
Additional day guests can be invited at no extra charge but the maximum capacity is 30 people (including those staying at Plas Bodegroes).

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Plas Bodegroes is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

How can I book?
When you're ready to book, we're on hand to make the booking process as simple as possible. You can either call us on 01242 352 747 or email [email protected] (remember to note the property you're looking to book). You can also make your booking request online.
When we receive your request, we'll check the availability with the property owner. We may have some additional questions to ask you about guest numbers, and the use of the property and process your payment. When we're able to confirm your stay, we'll confirm it with a booking confirmation document.
It's worth noting that bookings are only confirmed once we have sent you a Booking Confirmation document, so it's advisable not to book any additional services or travel until you have that.
