Versatile and luxurious, Water's Edge consists of the 6-bedroom main house and two further two-person cabins, all within a 100-acre forested estate, overlooking a lake. This secluded idyll is in a picturesque corner of Worcestershire, a short drive from Birmingham and just a couple of hours from London.
The glazed front of the house frame views of this natural haven that’s all yours. Enjoy morning coffees on the terrace, listening to the breeze in the trees. Rustle up wholesome meals in the sleek kitchen. Play pool or drop into comfortable sofas around the Danish wood burner, listening to your favourite music through Bluetooth speakers. Outside, explore the forest trails, or simply slide into the hot tub or relax on the swing seat and watch the wildlife on the lake from a distance.
When you’re ready to turn in, the bedrooms – spacious and uncluttered - take your zen to a deeper level. With an abundance of glazed walls bringing the outside in and terraces overlooking the lake, these are bedrooms for night and day. The bathrooms with natural materials, rainfall showers and some bedrooms with freestanding, in-room baths are as rooted in nature as every other design detail.
The log cabins carry through the same stylish, natural theme, having spacious living areas with log burners, ensuite bedrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows onto private decks. Water's Edge is a one-off, perfect for escaping to nature with your favourite people for a few blissful days.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is plenty of parking for up to 30 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Water's Edge. Cots, a highchair and a box of toys are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the proximity of the 8-acre lake, which is unfenced, and also around the hot tub. The two cabins are also on the water's edge.

Are pets allowed?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at Water's Edge due to the abundance of wildlife on the estate.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Stag parties are not permitted at Water's Edge. Mature hen parties are sometimes permitted, but only with express permission from the property owner prior to booking. Please contact us to discuss on 01242 352747.

Are additional day guests allowed at the property?
A small number of additional day guests may be allowed, subject to prior agreement with the owner (additional charges apply). Please contact us before booking to discuss on 01242 352747.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table in the living/dining room can seat up to 16 guests.

Can you recommend any local places to eat out?
Yes, we'd recommend the following pubs and restaurants, all within a short distance of the property:
Secret Garden Tea Rooms, Great Witley (for coffee, cake and light lunches) - seasonal opening
There's an array of great restaurants in Worcester and Ludlow and many more pubs in Ombersley.

Are BBQs allowed?
Please note BBQs are not permitted due to the forest location and fire risk. Please also refer to the house terms for other health and safety rules.

One cabin is about 50m from the main house and the other is about 100m away.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Water's Edge. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
