Escape to contemporary comforts, deep relaxation and far-reaching views when you stay at Longhollow House, overlooking Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. With its own spa, this retreat, for up to 12 of your hens, friends or nearest and dearest, is a real gem.
Enjoy state of the art tech like the Crestron console, which controls music and lighting at the tap of a button. Sink into classic comfort in the sumptuous living room, with the open fire keeping things toasty and Sky, Netflix and Apple TV on the flatscreen. Make mealtimes sociable in the eat-in kitchen with its corner table and wraparound seating. And sleep in style, beneath Egyptian cotton sheets in the six spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite steam showers and fluffy bathrobes.
Discover even more luxury when you step outside. Perched just up the hill is the spa barn, with a steam and sauna room, an outdoor sunken plunge pool and a hot tub, all with front row seats for the glorious views. If you fancy spa treatments, these can be arranged too. Later, decamp to the party bar, where there are comfy sofas and a wood burning stove, a table for games and a dartboard. Outside, play croquet, bocce ball and football and sit on the high terrace with steaks on the wood-fired barbecue as the sun glows golden over the plain.
A ten-minute stroll takes you to 14th century Edington Priory and an hour’s walk to the famous Westbury White Horse. With Bath, Stonehenge and the Avebury Stone Circle all within a short drive, you can immerse yourselves in history before coming back to the modern comforts of this wonderful country retreat.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Longhollow House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Longhollow House, and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for up to 9 cars at Longhollow House (please contact us if you need more).

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Longhollow House, subject to a fee of £25 per dog. Dog bowls and treats are available.

Is the house suitable for children?
Yes, children are welcome at Longhollow House. There are children's toys, and up to 6 highchairs and 6 travel cots available on request (please bring your own cot linen).

Are hen and stag parties allowed?
Stag parties are not permitted at Longhollow House. Hen parties are sometimes permitted, but only by prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

The dining table at Longhollow House can seat 12 guests comfortably.

Are extra beds available?
There are three children's z-beds which can be added to any of the bedrooms for an additional charge of £25 per bed. Please note the maximum capacity at the house must not exceed 12 guests.

The nearest train station is Westbury. Trains to Westbury go direct from London Paddington and Waterloo. From Westbury the property is a short taxi ride away.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Longhollow House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing for Longhollow House, and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747. When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 3 months prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 3 months of your stay).
