As you approach this Edwardian beauty, your heart beats a little faster. And when you step into the hallway, with its carved oak staircase, you know it’s love. Room after room exudes elegance, with Arts and Crafts detailing, high ceilings and light streaming through generous windows.
Listen to your favourite music on the Bose sound system in the family room, enjoy aperitifs in the comfy sitting room and eat around the polished table in the wood-panelled dining room. Drop into a window seat and gaze at the mountains while the children play their best ever game of hide and seek before settling in the playroom or gathering in the games room for pool and TV.
In the two kitchens, history gives way to mod cons, making cooking a pleasure, even more so when you eat in the light-filled orangery.
