Ocean Heights is high end; a place to enjoy the good things in life with close friends or family. The large open plan living area commands sea views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen, bristling with premium appliances, flows into the living and dining area, so everyone can enjoy good times together. Step out from here into the landscaped garden, where you can while away summer afternoons around the spa pool and rustle up a lazy supper on the Grillsteam gourmet hybrid BBQ. Spend long, sociable evenings beneath the pergola, where the seating area has heaters and a sunken fire pit to keep you cosy.

As the marina lights twinkle, bedtime means spacious and sumptuous suites where the beds have Hypnos mattresses, organic cotton linens and goose down pillows and the ensuites are the essence of spa chic. This is your sanctuary, whether you’re bathing in a marble bathroom with sea views or relaxing in a peaceful room with soft lighting.

Brighton is cosmopolitan and friendly, full of restaurants, independent shops and seaside fun. And Ocean Heights is the place to stay, modern and luxurious, close to the action but set above it, with those stunning sea views.

Ocean Heights Alfresco Dining

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Ocean Heights just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

House FAQs

  • What are the check in and check out times?

    Check in is between 3pm-6pm on the day of your arrival and check out is between 9am-11am. 

  • How many cars can park at the property?

    There is parking for 2 large cars or 3 small cars at the property. Parking is also available on the same road or adjacent roads.

  • Are children welcome?

    Children are very welcome at Ocean Heights. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times as there is no fencing around the swim spa pool and there is a drop from the terrace to the garden below (1.5m). 

  • Are pets allowed?

    One well-behaved dog may be allowed by prior agreement, subject to a fee of £50. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on soft furnishings.

  • Are stag and hen parties allowed?

    Respectful hen and stag parties are sometimes permitted, subject to prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

  • Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

    Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Sainsbury's or M&S for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 3pm on the day of arrival.

  • How many guests can sit at the dining table?

    The dining table can seat up to 12 guests.

  • Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

    Yes, we'd recommend the following restaurants, all within a short distance of the property:

    Tutto, Brighton

    A chic and stylish restaurant offering modern Italian cuisine with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Expect fresh pasta dishes, seafood, and an extensive wine selection.

    Wild Flor, Hove

    Known for its seasonal dishes and extensive wine list, Wild Flor offers a mix of modern British and European cuisine in an intimate setting.

    The Salt Room, Brighton

    A seafood lover's dream located near the seafront, The Salt Room specialises in grilled seafood and meats, paired with breathtaking views of Brighton’s iconic pier.

  • Are additional day guests allowed at the property?

    Additional day guests may be allowed, subject to prior agreement, at a charge of £50 per guest. Day guests must leave the property by 10pm.

  • What is the nearest train station?

    The nearest train stations are Black Rock Station (1.5 miles), Half Way Station (1.9 miles) or Brighton Station (3.2 miles).

  • What is the nearest airport?

    The nearest airport is London Gatwick (30 miles).

  • Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

    Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £2,500 during your stay at Ocean Heights. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

  • How do I book?

    You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.  

    When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
