We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Chalkstream Retreat just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 3pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am.
There is parking for 10 cars at the property.
Children are very welcome at Chalkstream Retreat. Cots and highchairs are not provided so please bring your own equipment for infants. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the outdoor pool, hot tub and fire pit as well as the proximity of the lake.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Chalkstream Retreat, subject to a fee of £70 per dog, per stay. Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms or on soft furnishings.
Stag parties are not permitted at this property. Respectful hen parties are sometimes permitted, but only with express permission from the property owner prior to booking. Please contact us to discuss. Please note, there is a noise policy in place at Chalkstream Retreat.
Yes, you can order online with Tesco for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 3pm on the day of arrival.
The dining table can seat up to 14 guests.

Additional day guests may be allowed (up to a maximum of 20 guests, including those staying at the property), subject to prior agreement with the property owner (charges may apply). Please call us to discuss.
Please note there is other accommodation on the wider estate that may be occupied during your stay. None of the other accommodation overlooks the property. Chalkstream Retreat has its own private access, grounds and parking and there are no shared facilities, apart from the lake.

The nearest airport is Southampton (16 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Chalkstream Retreat. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
