Kingswell House is a beautiful Shropshire country house; a special place to create memories with a select group of up to 12 family or friends (plus 2 children).
Start your days in the breakfast room, making plans around the great oak table. Retire to the sumptuous family room with a book, escape to the sun room, or relax in the drawing room, where softly draped, recycled silk curtains glow golden in the sunlight. Each room is furnished with impeccable elegance, imbuing a calm and restful air, and light fills them all through deep sash windows that invite you to explore the gardens.
Once outside, discover the 2.5-acre grounds, where mature evergreen and deciduous trees offer shade and stature. Set up a tennis tournament on the all-weather court, challenge the children to a croquet game, or simply sink into the hot tub and soak up the views. Alternatively, head to the games room in the barn to play table tennis or table football.
Explore the Shropshire countryside, visit the industrial heritage town of Ironbridge, and spend an afternoon at Trentham Gardens. Back at Kingswell House, take drinks out to the south-facing terrace and fire up the barbecue. Or rustle up a celebratory meal in the well-equipped family kitchen. Serve it in the spectacular dining room, where a log burner creates a convivial glow. Afterwards, throw yourselves down into the squidgy sofas in the cinema room for a movie on the huge screen.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Kingswell House, and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

Sorry, pets are not allowed at Kingswell House.

Are children welcome?
Yes. One highchair and one travel cot are available - please bring your own cot linen.

Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks or Chinese lanterns are not permitted at Kingswell House, due to the rural location of the house and livestock in surrounding fields.

Are additional day guests allowed?
Yes, additional day guests are permitted by prior arrangement. Please ask before booking. Up to 10 day guests, where permitted, do not attract any additional fee. A fee of £25 per day guest is applicable to numbers in excess of 10 guests.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Kingswell House is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

There is plenty of space for around 12 cars at Kingswell House.

Will you hold a cautionary deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £500 during your stay at Kingswell House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747. When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 3 months prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 3 months of your stay).
