Begin each day in the pretty breakfast room, relax in the purple-hued sitting room or the travel-inspired study, and watch Sky TV in the funky, teal-washed lounge on the first floor. In the billiards room, peruse the amazing sports memorabilia collection, added to over many decades, and take time out in the massage chair. Take your coffee, made using the bean-to-cup machine in the country kitchen, to the chaise-longue. Here, you can gaze through the window at the Mendips Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Next stop, the super-modern spa. Swim in the 29-degree indoor pool, detox in the sauna and sink into the hot tub.
On the rooftop terrace, practice your putting or take afternoon cocktails, enjoying the views. Time for a game on the all-weather tennis court before gathering for a barbecue. We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Mendip Manor just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 5pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for 12 cars on the private gravelled drive.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Mendip Manor. Two travel cots, two highchairs and children's cutlery and crockery are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Children's toys and games are also available. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the swimming pool, hot tub and children's play areas. There are also a number of ponds in the gardens.

Are pets allowed?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at Mendip Manor.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Mendip Manor is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

What are the dimensions and depth of the swimming pool?
The indoor swimming pool measures 10m x 5m with a depth of 1.2m at the shallow end and 2.4m at the deep end. The pool is heated to around 29 degrees.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Tesco or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The main dining room table seats 16-18 guests, or up to 24 guests with an extension. There is a separate breakfast room table that seats up to 10 guests as well as an additional small dining area in the first floor lounge with a table that seats up to 4 guests.

Does anyone else live on site?
The caretaker lives in an adjacent cottage within the grounds. Her cottage has completely separate access but please note her garden backs onto the driveway, screened by a privacy 'fence'. Her cars are parked by the entrance gates within the house grounds, but out of sight from the house, ensuring guests' privacy.

The nearest train station is Worle (6 miles).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £500 during your stay at Mendip Manor. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
