The traditionally English morning room, drawing room, dining room and kitchen are stylishly designed using British furnishings and fabrics. From the hand-painted De Gournay wallpaper in the morning room to the traditional black and white tiles in the kitchen and pantry, it’s clear that every detail has been considered to complement and enhance the beauty of the ancient manor house. The classic styling sits beautifully with stunning period features, such as the medieval laver, a stone basin in the entrance hall.
Celebrate your wedding vows in the oak-panelled ceremony room or beneath the romantic bower in the gardens, and then move through to the library or drawing room for Champagne and music. Outside, the beautiful wisteria-clad house is surrounded by formal lawns and gardens that offer views of the Kent countryside, and an elegant terrace – perfect for Pimm’s – runs the length of the house. Here, your party can spill onto the lawns in a setting that is quintessentially English.
