We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Broomstone House just perfect. In all of our country houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am. An 11am check-out may be possible on request for an additional charge of £60.
There is enough space for six cars to park at the front of the manor, and six more spaces around the side of the manor. There is overflow parking if you require parking for more than 12 cars.
Children are very welcome at Broomstone House. Two cots and two highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen), as well as toddler/children’s cutlery and crockery.
Up to three well-behaved dogs are allowed at Broomstone House, subject to a fee of £40 per dog. Dogs are only allowed in the dining hall, billiard room and kitchen and are not allowed on soft furnishings.
Respectful hen parties are permitted at Broomstone House. Stag parties (over 25s only) are sometimes permitted, but only by prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.
The dining table can seat up to 16 guests.

Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons or Ocado for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
Please note that the owners are undertaking critical structural repairs to the gatehouse until the end of February 2025. This will mean there will be scaffolding up at the entrance to the manor, so parking will be around the side. There will be very little impact on your stay (especially at weekends when no on-site work takes place).
The nearest train station is Taunton (7 miles / 15-minute drive). The train time from London Paddington is 1 hour 40 minutes.
The nearest airports are Exeter (36 miles) or Bristol (36 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Broomstone House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
