Pull up in front of Brynglas Manor, a picture-book Georgian country house, and stop for a moment to savour the panoramic views. Listen to the birdsong, take gulps of pure Welsh air and feel your shoulders drop. This is peace and you won’t want to leave.

So stay. For your celebration, wedding or reunion, for a gathering of the generations or a knees-up with friends. Hang out in the kitchen-diner, cooking effortlessly on the electric Aga. Sit at the table and chat over teas and coffees made with boiling water from the Quooker tap, or step it up to cocktails round the kitchen island. Sink into squashy sofas in the sitting room, take a moment alone in the snug, or carry your cocktails to the garden room and soak up the valley views. There’s a formal dining room too, with an open fire.

Outside, there are two acres to play in, so relax on a sheltered patio, limber up for badminton or croquet, or wander through the walled garden. Play table tennis in the games room, then light the barbecue in the covered bar and dining area.

When the fresh air has worked its magic, ascend to the seven bedrooms over two storeys. Understated elegance meets you, with polished oak floors, cosy rugs and quirky cushions. Ensuite and shared bathrooms are large and luxurious and, whichever bedroom is yours, you’ll be late for breakfast as you stand and gaze at the view through your window. This secret paradise is situated in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to Snowdonia and 30 minutes from Chester. Escape for a rejuvenating break amidst the green hills of North Wales.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Brynglas Manor just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Brynglas Manor. A travel cot and highchair is available on request (linen provided). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times.
Are pets allowed?

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Brynglas Manor, subject to a fee of £35 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.
Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Yes, respectful hen and stag parties are welcome with prior consent.
What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airports are Liverpool (60 minute drive) or Manchester (1 hour and 5 minute drive).
What is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is Flint (35 minute drive away).
Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Waitrose, Asda or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining table can seat 12 guests comfortably. The kitchen table can seat 12 comfortably, plus there are 4 stools at the kitchen bar.
What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 5pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am on departure.
How many cars can park at the property?

There is ample parking for around 10 cars at the property.
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Brynglas Manor This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
How do I book?

You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
