One Hundred Acres is an exquisitely restored cider press with a boho cottage vibe and surrounded by The Quantocks, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills. At the heart of the house, the 25m open-plan kitchen gives you line of sight to the swimming pool and incorporates a light-filled dining area. Here, after easy-going meals, you’ll want to linger over coffee as you throw open the bi-fold doors to the garden and parkland beyond. Al fresco meals are relaxed too, with a long table under a covered terrace, a Big Green Egg barbecue and a firepit. For quieter moments, seek out one of the many cosy seating areas, from the kitchen snug to the cinema and games room, where you can watch movies or play snooker beneath the high-raftered ceiling. Outside, find secluded sunlit spots to sit with a book, discover the tennis court hidden behind wildflowers, or gather in the internal courtyard for ping pong, Jenga or down time on the rattan sun loungers or in the sauna. The 10 bedrooms have super king-size beds, which can be made into singles, with pretty, patterned headboards. Cottage windows offer views of the countryside and there’s a mix of shared and private bathrooms.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at One Hundred Acres just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for up to 10 cars at the property.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco or Ocado for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at One Hundred Acres. Two travel cots and two highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Toys are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the swimming pool.

Are pets allowed?
Up to three well-behaved dogs are allowed at One Hundred Acres, subject to a fee of £60 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Respectful hen and stag parties are permitted, subject to prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

The dining table can seat up to 20 guests comfortably.

The nearest train stations are Tiverton Parkway (9 miles) or Taunton (15 miles).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at One Hundred Acres. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
