We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Cartmel Manor just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.
Situated at the southern edge of the English Lake District, with the mountains as a backdrop, Cartmel Manor is a stone’s throw from not one but two Michelin starred restaurants. It’s perfectly situated to explore the lakeland fells while being close to the nature-rich South Cumbrian coast. As a location, it’s hard to beat and as a luxury hideaway with friends or family it’s in a class of its own.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Cartmel Manor, subject to prior agreement only (no additional charge). Please contact us prior to booking to discuss. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, on carpeted areas or on soft furnishings.

Yes, children are welcome at Cartmel Manor and highchairs and cots are available on request (please bring your own cot bedding).

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Cartmel Manor, and check out is at 10am.
There is plenty of parking for 16 cars at the property.
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £5,000 during your stay at Cartmel Manor. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
Up to 20 guests can dine together inside or outside.
