We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Greenmarsh Farm just perfect. In all of our country houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 3pm on the day of your arrival at Greenmarsh Farm and check out is at 10.30am.
There is parking for 3 cars directly outside the farmhouse, with more spaces available in the car park a short walk away.
Children are very welcome at Greenmarsh Farm. Highchairs, travel cots, a baby bath, children’s tableware, toys and books are all provided. Please note, there are no stair gates and parents should supervise children at all times as the garden is not fenced and there is lots of water around, plus farm machinery. During the holidays, the owners can organise children's wildlife activities and host private tours for children and families (additional cost).
Sorry, as Greenmarsh Farm is on a National Nature Reserve, pets aren't allowed due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife.
Respectful hen and stag parties are sometimes permitted, subject to prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss. The owner can also arrange catering and activities to suit.
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the farmhouse. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 3pm on the day of arrival.
The dining room table can seat 12 guests or up to 16 with an extension. The kitchen/breakfast room table can seat 10 guests.
Yes, we'd recommend the following pubs and restaurants, all within a short distance of the property:
The Ferry House, Leysdown-on-Sea (12 miles)
Admiral's Arm, Queenborough (4.5 miles)
The Ship Inn, Conyer (12 miles)
The market town of Faversham (14 miles) is also a good place for pubs and restaurants.
Due to the island location of Greenmarsh Farm, other high quality restaurants are a 30-45 minute drive away, with some excellent options a little further afield (Margate, Whitstable and Canterbury). For a special treat, why not try:

Greenmarsh Farm is located on a large private estate and National Nature Reserve where there is other accommodation (shepherds' huts, cabins, glamping tents and a smaller house). However, it has its own private entrance and grounds to enjoy.
The nearest train station is Sittingbourne (3 miles) with direct trains from London Victoria, St Pancras and Stratford. Alternatively, you can change at Sittingbourne for Swale (1.8 miles).
The nearest airport is Gatwick (45 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Greenmarsh Farm. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
