We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Parsonage House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
There is parking for 10+ cars at the property.
Children are very welcome at Parsonage House. Toys, bikes, a trampoline, highchairs, toddlers’ chairs and one travel cot are available. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the swimming lake as well as the stream running through the grounds. There are also small drops as the property is on a hill (most are fenced off).

Sorry, Parsonage House is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.
The dining room table in the main house can seat up to 16 guests. There's also a kitchen table seating 8 guests. The apartment has a dining table seating 4. There is a small foldaway table for 2 guests in the coach house and a dining area for 2 guests in the shepherd's hut.
Yes, you can order online with Sainsbury's, Tesco or Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

The coach house is approximately 20 metres from the main house and the shepherd's hut is approximately 30 metres from the main house.
Parsonage House is located in the countryside and there are cows and sheep in the neighbouring fields. There are also various animals around the property including a donkey and ponies in the paddock plus free-roaming chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and turkeys.
The nearest train station is Barnstaple (11 miles).
The nearest airport is Exeter (50 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £500 during your stay at Parsonage House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
