Grab your surf boards and shades and head to Tregan House for a big break with friends or family. Just 500m from Watergate Bay and about 10 minutes’ drive from Cornwall’s surfing capital of Newquay, Tregan House is a beach-style home for 12 to 14 guests. This south-facing, hillside property lets light flood into the open-plan lounge-diner, where there’s room at the table for all your hungry surfers and sunbathers. The beach vibe, with bleached wood, aqua blues and soft whites, creates an uncluttered and chilled out space. Enjoy the easy life in the kitchen, which has everything from a built-in bean-to-cup coffee machine to an Aga and a wine fridge. Pour the Prosecco and step though bifold doors onto a large terrace - one of three - which has access to the sheltered 8-person hot tub and an acre of gardens. Here, the children have space to run and play and, if the weather turns, they can run straight into the large play room, where there’s table tennis and a TV. Shoo them out again when you are ready to unroll your yoga mat.
Everything’s been thought of at Tregan House, from the in-ceiling sound system to the Weber barbecue. With the sea so close and with beach towels and buckets and spades provided, your job is simply to relax. As evening falls, step back indoors, where there are two log burners to keep you cosy. The five coastal chic bedrooms include three super king rooms, a family room with bunk beds and a twin room, with space for two more on a sofa bed in the basement studio. Some bedrooms have balconies with a glimpse of the sea and all have luxury private bathrooms.

What to Expect
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Tregan House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for 10 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Tregan House. A travel cot and highchair are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). There's also a stair gate for the bottom of the main stairs. Buckets and spades for the beach are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the hot tub area.

Are pets allowed?
Well-behaved dogs are allowed at Tregan House, for no additional charge. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, in the bedrooms or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Respectful hen and stag parties are permitted at Tregan House. Please note a higher cautionary deposit amount of £500 is required (see damage deposit FAQ below).

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Sainsbury's or Asda for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

The dining table can seat up to 20 guests.

Does anyone live on-site?
The caretaker lives in a property just behind Tregan House. While they are on hand in case there is a problem, their intention is to be very discreet and only be present should you need them.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £300 during your stay at Tregan House (£500 for hen and stag parties). This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
