Windrush Hyde Estate Cotswold Manor

Windrush Hyde Estate Heart of England

Historic Cotswold charm meets twenty-first century luxury

The Windrush Hyde Estate is the perfect marriage of historic charm and contemporary style, in the heart of the Cotswolds. Stay in this centuries-old honey-stoned estate and enjoy tradition and luxury, side by side. The accommodation, for up to 30 adults and six children, comprises the Manor House and four converted barns of varying sizes, making it the ideal venue for family gatherings or for friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company while allowing those who want to retain their private space.

At Windrush Hyde, old blends with new and a certain magic happens. Here’s an exposed stone wall, a huge original fireplace and an antique bureau; there’s a quirky cinema room with surround sound, a snug with Sky TV and an Xbox, a hot tub in the dovecote. Play pool in the baronial hall, watched over by a suit of armour. Retire to a four-poster bedroom with White Company linens and a luxury ensuite.

Outside, the luxury begins all over again, with stunning, formal gardens designed by Jinny Blom. There’s also a tennis court, a swimming pool in the summer months, and plenty of seating for when it’s Pimm’s O’ Clock. The 14-acre estate makes space for a lake, where you can go swimming or boating, a woodland playground for the children, a number of gardens and orchards and a second hot tub. Throw in the Cotswold views and it is just possible you’ve found Heaven!

Guest Reviews

I was blown away by the beauty of this amazing place! Every part of Windrush Hyde Estate, from the gardens to each and every room, is absolutely exquisite. We loved the contrast from traditional to contemporary. We had such a wonderful time - I cannot thank you enough.

This was a wonderful weekend for us all celebrating our daughter's 30th birthday. The house and gardens were spectacular and every elevation was a sight to behold. The atmosphere was welcoming and user friendly and very well appointed. We were so lucky with the Cotswolds blue skies and a perfect backdrop for a very happy family and friends occasion.

We feel extremely privileged to have been able to stay in such a beautiful, well cared for, well equipped and thoughtfully decorated property. Not only the inside of the premises, but the gardens, swimming pool area and tennis court blended so well with the whole estate. Our weekend was unbelievably magical and unquestionably memorable. Thank you.
