The perfect venue for a sociable get-together or large family celebration, Tall Trees is a handsome country house surrounded by the calm beauty of the Teme Valley.

Push open the front door and step into a huge entrance hall where a cantilever staircase with wrought iron balustrade sweeps up and round to a magnificent galleried landing. Throughout the house, modern art and designer furniture rub shoulders with polished antiques, swag and tail curtains and original period features; a hint that your 21^st century home comforts have been given equal billing with the Georgian elegance. The state-of-the-art kitchen finds space for a homely Aga, while the four high-ceilinged reception rooms with tall sash windows are complemented by the more recent introduction of a sun-filled orangery housing a gym and games room, leading to a delightful indoor swimming pool. The 10 bedrooms (including two in a separate cottage) are characterised by crystal chandeliers, grand sleigh beds and modern bathrooms.

On sunny days, spill onto the large terrace outside, where the imaginatively landscaped gardens give way to sweeping lawns, a pond, a folly and an arboretum beyond. Lift your eyes to the horizon for far-reaching views of the Teme Valley and the distant Malvern and Clee Hills, then slide into the hot tub or fire up the barbecue, pour another Pimm’s and feel this arcadian setting work its magic on you.

You can bring up to 30 guests and take over Tall Trees for a special family get-together, or a tranquil country weekend.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Tall Trees just perfect. In all of our country houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Is Tall Trees suitable for a party?

If you’re planning a party that might in any way cause a disturbance to local residents, we’d invite you to speak to us about a more suitable property.
Is there a noise policy for guests staying at Tall Trees?

Yes. We ask that guests are mindful of Tall Trees’ peaceful valley setting. The noise policy is designed to ensure you can enjoy your time at the property while ensuring residents in the locality are not unduly disturbed. Our full House Terms including our noise policy can be found here.
What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
How many cars can park at the property?

There is parking for 25 cars.
Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Ocado for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

Are pets allowed?

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Tall Trees, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, on soft furnishings or in the pool area.
Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Sorry, stag parties, hen parties and any single sex groups are not permitted at this property.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining room has two tables seating up to 30 guests (14 on one table; 16 on the other).
Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Tall Trees. 3 travel cots and 3 highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the indoor pool as well as ponds and water features outdoors.
How far away is Tall Trees Cottage from the main house?

Tall Trees Cottage is perfectly positioned a stone's throw from the main house at Tall Trees (just a few minutes walk up the gravel driveway). Prices shown include use of Tall Trees Cottage.
What is the nearest train station?

The nearest train stations are Hartlebury (11 miles), Worcester Foregate Street (13 miles) or Worcester Shrub Hill (16 miles).
What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Birmingham (40 miles).
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Tall Trees. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
