As you enter the magnificent hallway, you know this is a special place to stay. The statuesque rooms are effortlessly stylish and make the perfect backdrop for cocktails and dinner parties. And there’s a Sonos sound system and a piano to provide the sound track to your celebrations. Up to 4 cars can be parked immediately in front of the house. Additional street parking is available close to the town centre.
How far is the house from London?

Swaffham House is under 2 hours' drive from London or 1.5 hours by train from King's Cross to Downham Market (25 mins taxi to Swaffham) - it's the perfect getaway location from London.
What is the nearest train station?

Downham Market station is just a 25 minute taxi ride to Swaffham House (16 miles). There are direct trains hourly from London King’s Cross which take about 1.5 hours.
What is the nearest airport?

Norwich airport is 45 minutes (29 miles) from Swaffham House.
Are pets allowed at the property?

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome at Swaffham House, subject to a fee of £50 per dog.
Are children welcome at the property?

Yes, but please note that there is no specific equipment for children (e.g. highchairs and cots), so please be prepared to bring your own.
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,250 during your stay at Swaffham House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
