We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Stargaze Manor just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
There is parking for 10 cars at the property.
Children are very welcome at Stargaze Manor. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, children are to be under adult supervision at all times, particularly around the wild swimming lake.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Stargaze Manor, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings. Whilst walking around the estate, dogs must be kept on a lead as there are ducks and cats that roam around. However, there is one gated Wild Woodland Streamside Walk where dogs can run around off lead.
Respectful hen and stag parties (where the average age of the group is over 25) are permitted, subject to prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss on 01242 352747.
Yes, you can order online with Tesco for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
The dining table can seat up to 20 guests.

Sandy Cove Hotel, Combe Martin Bay - a real favourite with guests staying at Stargaze Manor due to the cliff top location, overlooking the ocean. There are two restaurants for guests to enjoy at The Sandy Cove; an informal restaurant and a formal restaurant, depending on the mood. Located only 10 minutes from Stargaze Manor by car.
The Sawmills, Watermouth Valley - beautiful country pub serving fantastic food with outstanding service, very friendly and serves delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located only 10 minutes from Stargaze Manor by car.
The Pavilion Dining Room, Lynmouth - enjoy great food and fantastic views over the sea.
The Rising Sun, Lynmouth - 16th century thatched inn which serves delicious food in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Blue Ball Inn, Countisbury Hill, Lynmouth - a favourite for Sunday lunch.
Charlie Fridays, Lynton - voted best café in North Devon! Sells great coffee, breakfast, brunch and sweet treats. Dogs are welcome.
Barricane Beach Café, Woolacombe (open June-September) - serving baguettes and ciabatta during the day and delicious Sri Lankan curry at night.
Restaurant NC, Woolacombe - owner and chef, Noel Corston, has won numerous awards for his sensational food. There are only 10 seats so booking is essential!
New Coast Kitchen, Croyde - loved by the property owners!
There are five safari lodges situated within the 17 acres that make up the farm estate. These lodges are on the other side of the estate and have their own entrance and car park. They are also lower down on the hillside (the nearest lodge to the property is approximately 100 metres away). Stargaze Manor has its own private garden but the wider farm estate is shared with other holidaymakers staying in these lodges (including the wild swimming lake, amenity field, lakeside firepit, table tennis and an additional hot tub).
The nearest train station is Barnstaple (12 miles).
The nearest airport is Exeter (52 miles).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Stargaze Manor. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
