We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Mulberry Tree Cottage just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 5pm on the day of your arrival at Mulberry Tree Cottage, and check out is at 10am.
There is a large private driveway with space for 15+ cars, with electric gates with secure code for access.
Yes, up to four well-behaved dogs are allowed at Mulberry Tree Cottage, subject to a fee of £30 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, on soft furnishings or in the pool area. There are outdoor dog kennels available if required.
Children are very welcome at Mulberry Tree Cottage. One travel cot and one highchair are available on request (please bring your own cot linen), plus toys and books. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the indoor swimming pool and fishing lake.
Stag parties are not permitted. Older hen party groups are only permitted by prior arrangement with the owner. Restrictions will apply on bookings from all-male or all-female parties if not immediate family or couples. Please contact us prior to booking.
The dining table in the main house seats up to 20 guests plus 4 on a separate children’s table and 8 at the breakfast bar. The dining table in the barn-style annexe seats up to 6 guests, plus 3 at the breakfast bar.
Yes, you can order online with Tesco or Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 5pm on the day of arrival. The nearest supermarkets to the house are Tesco (6 miles), M&S (7.5 miles) or Waitrose (15 miles).

The White Hart Hotel, Hingham – This fine country dining pub serves high quality food and local produce where everyone is welcoming including the dog. If you’re looking for a quality dining experience, we would highly recommend this country pub. And it’s located just under 10 miles from the cottage.
The Eagle, Great Hockham – Just a short walk from the cottage past the picturesque village green is this public house serving a great selection of ales. This local pub is also dog friendly.
The Chequers Inn, Thompson – This 17th century inn is nestled in the picturesque village of Thompson around 5 miles from the cottage. Offering hearty food and a selection of real ale, it makes for the perfect pit-stop for walkers and visitors.
The White Lodge, Attleborough – This charming thatched pub and restaurant can be reached in 6 miles offering home-cooked food, cask ales and a warm welcome.
The Boars, Wymondham – This is a friendly pub located 12 miles from the cottage and serves some great food, fine wines and craft beers.
The Windmill Inn, Necton – We would highly recommend this traditional family-run village pub incorporating a modern first-class restaurant located 13 miles from the cottage. The Windmill is well known by the locals for its quality food. This village pub also offers an extensive wine menu, real ales, lagers and ciders.
The Game Keeper, Old Buckenham – Situated 8 miles away, this family-friendly pub offers a warm welcome, local ale, fine wines and excellent food. This Grade II listed building overlooks the pasture and ponds of Old Buckenham.

The Elveden Courtyard and Restaurant, Elveden – A 12 mile journey will take you to this relaxing dining experience, sourcing much of its own produce from the Elveden estate and farm. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and Sunday lunch.
The Mulberry Tree, Attleborough – This independent restaurant is highly rated amongst locals and visitors alike with a Google star rating of 4.6. Whenever the clouds disappear, its alfresco garden is bathed in sun throughout the day and into the evening during summer months.

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Mulberry Tree Cottage. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
