Off-site, we can arrange booking, transport and logistics for everything from canoeing on the Wye to cider tasting at the local farm.Â
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Merbach Hill House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome at Merbach Hill House, priced at £20 per dog.Â
Guests bringing dogs should be aware that there is livestock (sheep and cows) in adjacent fields to rural Merbach Hill House so if guests are not confident of their dog's recall, they should be kept on a lead or on a long tether.
Yes. There is one guest bedroom with near level access to a level parking space nearby. This large room can accommodate a wheelchair or other guests who need to be step free. The room has an en-suite double shower and a shower chair can be provided, but there are no grab handles.
Yes, Merbach Hill House is great for children of all ages. Stairgates and one travel cot can be provided in advance, free of charge (please bring your own cot bed linen).
Hen parties are sometimes permitted. Please ask prior to booking. Sorry, stag parties are not permitted at Merbach Hill House.
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Merbach Hill House and check out is at 10am.
Yes. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 5pm on the day of arrival.
There is plenty of parking available for up to 10 cars at Merbach Hill House.
The versatile double height dining hall can seat 21 guests, or the flexible space can be moved around to provide ample standing room for canapés or a buffet table and seating for a smaller group of 10-15.

Merbach Hill House is an adaptable working retreat with great Wi-Fi, a large meeting/dining hall room seating 21, and 5 breakout lounges/barns plus a huge garden for games or relaxing. Catering options are also available.

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Merbach Hill House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
