Here, you can escape to the country for views across the dales as far as the eye can see - the ultimate stress-buster. Turn your back on the window for a second to take in the thoughtfully designed interiors, which boast locally quarried Mandale limestone, Kartell furniture and British designer Juliet Travers wallpaper. The magnificent glass-walled kitchen has open-plan dining and a comfortable lounge, with room for everyone. Seek out the library or sitting room if you are feeling more peaceful, and contemplative. Taking up the tempo, the Grand Barn is perfect for parties, dinners and other celebrations, with a grand piano, space to dance and even a secret TV snug.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Limestone Grange just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is room for up to 30 cars to park at the farm.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.

Is the house suitable for children?
Yes, children are very welcome at Limestone Grange. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot bed linen). Please note the outdoor area includes a small pond (gated), cattle grids and steps so children need to be supervised at all times.

The dining table can seat 16 guests, or 32 when split into 4 tables (and variations in-between). The Grand Barn dining tables can seat 30 guests.

The nearest train station is Grindleford (5 miles). Further afield is Matlock station (approx. 11 miles) or Buxton station (approx. 14 miles).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 (£2,000 for weddings or events) during your stay at Limestone Grange. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
