There is parking for up to 10 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Hydeham Hall. One highchair and one travel cot are available on request (more may be available by prior arrangement). Please bring your own cot linen. There are also board games and a small children's play area.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Hydeham Hall, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Sorry, Hydeham Hall is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Tesco or Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining table seats up to 12 guests.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Hydeham Hall. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

A spacious and light-filled Victorian country house

A beautifully restored 19^th century manor house, Hydeham Hall in Berkshire blends Victorian splendour with contemporary comfort. From the moment you enter the light-filled Grand Hall, with its roof lantern high above you and a grand piano taking centre stage, you know this is a special place.

Every room captures the sunlight through tall sash windows, creating a sense of light and space. Very quickly, you’ll discover the sociable heart of Hydeham Hall is the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Here, bar stools flank the kitchen island and comfy sofas take in garden views. There are other reception rooms too, with full length windows, inviting Chesterfield sofas and oak flooring warmed by underfloor heating.

Bring all the family, and make use of the games room, cellar gym and cinema room. The children will love the freedom of the huge lawns and woodland area while the adults enjoy sundowners on the patio.

Climb the original, curved wood staircase to the galleried landing where six comfortable bedrooms await. The generous proportions upstairs extend to the luxuriously appointed ensuite bathrooms, many with freestanding baths and walk-in showers. The bedrooms enjoy views of the gardens and one room has a stone balcony - just the spot for your morning coffee and evening aperitifs.

Hydeham Hall lies in a green and pleasant corner of Berkshire, with excellent travel links to London and Heathrow. It lends itself perfectly to family gatherings and corporate events.
