If you’re planning a party or celebration, Bannerby Lodge is just the place. This gorgeous country house sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, a short drive from Bath. First appearances say it’s a quaint cottage for a few of your favourite people, but looks deceive, because it sleeps up to 26 guests within the cottage and two studios. So extend your invitation list and get ready for a great time.

Catering is a cinch in the well-equipped kitchen and there’s room at the breakfast bar to pour the Prosecco or Nespresso and keep the chef company. Chill out in the stylish lounge on comfortable sofas. Spill into the pretty garden, where you’ll find seating areas, a table tennis table and two hot tubs, with a third hot tub located outside one of the studios. Make it an informal party, cooking an alfresco meal on the two barbecues. Or for nights off, the local pub is under a mile away and Bath is a short taxi ride.

When you’re ready to wind down, you might find the party keeps going because the bedrooms are sociable spaces. There are four bedrooms in the main lodge and, with a combination of sleeping options, accommodating up to 16 guests. This makes Bannerby Lodge great for a hen party, where you can stay awake chatting until the early hours, or for groups of families, so you can keep a close eye on the kids. The bedrooms share three smart bathrooms. In the grounds, one of the studios sleeps six and the other sleeps four. All that’s left to do is choose your best 26 and get Bannerby Lodge into the diary.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Bannerby Lodge just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am.
How many cars can park at the property?

There is parking for 6-8 cars at Bannerby Lodge.
Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Bannerby Lodge. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the hot tubs in the grounds.
Are pets allowed?

Well behaved dogs may be considered by prior agreement, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Please call us prior to booking to discuss on 01242 352747.
Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Respectful hen and stag parties are allowed.
Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Tesco for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining table can seat up to 22 guests.
Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

Yes, the Northey Arms in Box, is less than a mile from the property. This is a beautifully refurbished pub and inn steeped in history, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The lovely city of Bath (just 10-15 minutes' drive away), has many pubs and restaurants to choose from.
What is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is Bath (5 miles).
What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Bristol (23 miles).
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Bannerby Lodge. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
How do I book?

You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
