Home Farm Leicestershire Big House Experience

Home Farm Heart of England

A rural escape for a restful and restorative break

With a calming sense of space and light, Home Farm in the verdant Leicestershire countryside is a haven for family gatherings and corporate getaways. Here, you can escape from the world, whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee in the sun-filled lounge, relaxing with a book in the day room, or watching a movie in the wood-panelled snug. If the reception rooms offer peace and solitude, the kitchen is for socialising. Warmed by the Aga, it is equipped with everything from an instant hot water tap to dedicated drinks fridges. It opens into the orangery, with dining for up to 16 (or 20 at a squeeze), and a further dining table for more guests. Other luxuries include an indoor swimming pool, exquisite bathrooms with roll top baths and walk-in showers, and manicured gardens wrapping around most of the house, so you can follow the sun as the children play.

There’s space for ten guests in five luxurious bedrooms and, for larger parties, there are up to twelve further rooms in the converted stable block that you can book in addition. Home Farm sits in the grounds of an equestrian centre and is well-situated to explore, with Market Harborough and Rutland Water both nearby.

Guest Reviews

Lovely spacious accommodation, beautiful swimming pool, fabulous large rooms all with en suite bathrooms, amazing location, helpful obliging staff - exceeded my expectations completely. This accommodation is absolutely beautiful... Lovely huge dining table in the kitchen that catered for 17 of us sitting comfortably to eat.

Would thoroughly recommend Home Farm to anyone who wanted a weekend party for really any occasion, every one of the 20 guests loved it. Ian who managed things on site was so helpful and made the organisation of the weekend so much easier.

Stable Bedrooms

If your party is larger than 10, you can choose to accommodate extra guests in the Stable Rooms, just a stone's throw from the house (not included in our website prices). If you'd like to add the Stable Rooms, please ask at the time of booking as their availability is not guaranteed and may be used by the Equestrian Centre.

The 12 Stable Rooms are all en-suite and include two which are adapted for wheelchair users. They are available at £180 per room for a 3-night weekend, £180 for 4-night mid-week stay or £300 for a week stay.

Making work feel like play

As well as private stays, Home Farm lends itself to corporate getaways. With plenty of space to gather your team and countless areas for breakout groups, it’s a calm and elegant oasis, where ideas flow and productivity becomes easy. After a hard day’s work, the pool is great for downtime, and the five bedrooms can be supplemented with up to twelve rooms in a converted stable block within the grounds, which can be booked at additional cost.
