Welcome to Wales, where just a hop across the border from England feels like you've entered a new world entirely. This compact country boasts inspiring hills, formidable castles and moody coastlines of crumbling rock and golden sand.
There are eight luxurious bedrooms in this retreat sleeping 16, or up to 22 and 6 kids with the next-door Garden's Cottage. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and quirky features. Bedroom five has a double bed and all others are king-sized. The adjoining Garden's Cottage offers a further three double en-suite bedrooms plus a bunk room for up to six kids.

This place is part of our collection of party houses to rent and lends itself to a celebration and reconnecting with your friends and family. Enjoy drinks on the terrace, have our private chef to cook up a supper to remember or cook together in the huge kitchen. When the sun goes down, the fun is centred around three glasshouses; think underfloor heating, wine fridges and comfy sofas. Get competitive in the games room with pool, table tennis and table football or relax on deep sofas in the cinema and watch a film on the giant 110” wall-mounted TV screen.
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Garden's Edge just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.
Head outside to explore the restored high walls of the one-acre private kitchen garden and discover the espaliered fruit trees (replanted exactly as they were in Victorian times) or head to the covered hot tub (and sauna coming soon). Outside, enjoy BBQs on your private terrace.
Or explore further afield. Garden’s Edge is set in 5,000 acres of beautiful parkland. Get out and explore the parklands on foot, or on one of the complimentary Pashley bicycles. Try rowing, fishing or paddle-boarding. Enjoy nature walks, a private picnic or take a swim in the nearby shared swimming pool.
Outside the Estate’s parkland, Garden’s Edge is just a short drive from Suffolk’s celebrated heritage coast. Here, you can discover one of England’s finest piers at Southwold, enjoy famous fish & chips in Aldeburgh or make your own gin at the Adnams Brewery. For the adventurous, take to the waves in a RIB from Southwold with Coastal Challenger, or visit Go Ape, Suffolk’s biggest tree top adventure.

The pool and tennis courts are shared with other local properties Yoxford Manor, House on the Moat, Suffolk Farmhouse and Suffolk Stables and Barn.
The pool is sheltered in a hollow and accessed via a series of spectacular grass terraces designed by the renowned landscape architect Kim Wilkie. The swimming pool and hot tub are heated from 1 May to 30 September.
Garden's Edge also has a private hot tub.
High chairs and cots can be provided at Garden's Edge. Please let us know in advance. We do request that guests provide their own bedding for cots.
Darsham station is approximately 1.5 miles from Garden's Edge. Collections and drop-offs can be arranged.
The closest international airport is Norwich International which is approximately 40 miles away. London Stansted is also easily accessible (approximately 78 miles away). Both can accommodate private jets. There is also a private airstrip adjacent to the estate which is available by prior arrangement.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Garden's Edge.
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at Garden's Edge. We ask that guests keep their dogs on a lead in and around the estate ensuring dogs do not worry the livestock.
Helicopters can land in the parkland near Garden's Edge by prior arrangement. Please contact us to discuss.
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am. A later departure time can be arranged on request (at additional charge).
