Bay View House, hidden between forested cliffs that shelter a private little bay, is your piece of Pembrokeshire beach heaven. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect spot for a group getaway.

Soak up the sea views as you make your morning Nespresso in the family kitchen; as you relax in the sky room, with its piano and windows to the sky; as you take lunch and dinner in the spacious dining room. And of course, from the two expansive outdoor terraces.

This grand house is replete with 1920s features, including the original billiards table. More recent refurbishments provide you with a cinema room, music room, therapy room and a craft room, where the children can spend many happy hours - when they’re not down on the beach. Through the garden gate, the beach is pretty much all yours, for splashing about, kayaking and launching a bigger boat from the slipway.

Explore the 10-acre grounds, finding springtime bluebells, woodland trails and lawns for outdoor games. If you find time for days out, visit the seaside town of Tenby and take a boat trip to Caldey Island to see red squirrels, smell the lavender and taste the island’s handmade chocolates.

When evening rolls around, party in the bar and games room or the sky room, with music on the Sonos system. Head to bed for more sea views, with many of the luxurious ensuite bedrooms overlooking the bay. If yours doesn’t, the garden and valley views are just as pleasing. Sleeping 30-34 guests, Bay View House is a spacious and special hideaway for your next group get-together or celebration.

We have just had the most fabulous time at Bay View House - it is a very special house in an incredible location. Every detail is taken care of and it is immaculately clean. There were 21 in our party with a wide range of ages and we all loved our stay. The weather was perfect so we were able to make full use of the outdoor areas - BBQ, beach and water activities. Even if the weather had been bad it wouldn't have spoilt it, there is plenty to keep all ages occupied indoors.

We had a wonderful week at Bay View House. Fantastic house for a family holiday - it has everything you could wish for in the house - it is so well equipped. Someone has clearly put a huge amount of thought and effort into creating the ideal holiday house. Great for family fun right on the beach. Views are superb and there are lots of lovely walks. Had plans to explore the area, but none of the kids wanted to leave! Will return next year.

From start to finish Bay View House didn't disappoint! When we arrived we were wow'd! The rooms, the beachfront location and the feel of the house was very special. The cleaning team were amazing and our caterers did us proud. We played darts, snooker, ate, drank, walked, lit a fire on the beach and spent some time in Tenby. It is a truly lovely house containing everything we needed. Our family of 16 went home very happy. ;-)

What a beautiful house, the pictures on the website doesn't do it justice. Would highly recommend this house. The bedrooms are gorgeous, even though there were 26 of us, there was room to do your own thing. Can't recommend this enough. Also the two ladies that greet you are so lovely, very helpful. We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Bay View House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Location

Set just outside Tenby, Pembrokeshire on the beautiful Welsh coastline. The house is cradled between the cliffs and 10 acres of beautiful gardens, lawns, woodland and the beach.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4.30pm on the day of your arrival at Bay View House and check out is at 10am.
How many cars can be parked at Bay View House?

There is plenty of parking available for 20+ cars.
Are pets allowed?

Up to 5 dogs are welcome at Bay View House, subject to a fee of £60 per dog.
Is the house suitable for children?

Yes, children are very welcome at Bay View House. Three cots and three highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen).
Are stag and hen parties allowed at Bay View House?

Hen and stag parties are sometimes permitted, subject to agreement with the property owner prior to booking. Please contact us to discuss your booking on 01242 352747.
Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Tesco or Asda for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4.30pm on the day of arrival.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

30 guests can be seated in the dining room.
Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

Yes. We'd suggest the following pubs and restaurants which are within a short distance of Bay View House. Here are a few of our favourites:

The Trefloyne Manor (6 minute drive)

A 15th century country manor that prides itself on hospitality, with a modern helping of five-star amenities. Flagstone floors, exposed original beams and wingback chairs jostle playfully with designer lighting.

The Grove, Narberth (24 minute drive)

The Grove has lots to offer from an informal lunch on the terrace, a fabulous afternoon tea in one of the lounges, maybe something off the bar menu or dine in one of the two most romantic restaurants in Wales.

Plantagenet House (6 minute drive)

For a unique dining experience visit Plantagenet House Restaurant on Quay Hill in Tenby, voted in the top 25 places to eat in Wales.

Ultracomida, Narberth (26 minute drive)

What is the nearest train station to Bay View House?

The nearest train station is Tenby (6 minute drive).
What's the nearest airport to Bay View House?

The nearest commercial airport is Cardiff (1 hour 40 minute drive). For private flying, there is Haverfordwest (32 minute drive).
Can I land a helicopter at Bay View House?

Yes, although we need to obtain written authorisation for this. Please contact us for co-ordinates.
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 (£2,000 for weddings or hen/stag parties) during your stay at Bay View House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
How do I book?

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
