Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Riverbank Inn. Two travel cots and two highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot bed linen). Children's toys, books and DVDs are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the sunken hot tub and the proximity of the river (unfenced access).

Up to six well-behaved dogs are allowed at Riverbank Inn, subject to a fee of £20 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Hen and stag parties for over 25s only are permitted.

Are additional guests allowed at the property?

Additional day/evening guests may be permitted by prior agreement (at no extra charge). Please contact us to discuss.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Morrisons or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

The dining area has a large dining table that seats 12-14 guests. Around 20 guests can be seated on smaller tables in the bar area.

Riverbank Inn The South West

A boutique holiday/celebration home in a converted country inn

Riverbank Inn is a thatched south Devon pub that has been sensitively converted into a unique country retreat which is particularly well suited for large groups. Sleeping up to 29 guests in five private areas, it retains its welcoming air, along with a fully functioning bar, and a large dance floor/socialising area with sound and light systems to create a nightclub atmosphere for additional guests. There's also a plethora of traditional pub games and a nature-rich, two-acre garden on the banks of the river. Add to the mix a games room, a kitchen bristling with high-end appliances, a 20-seat cinema with vintage red velvet chairs and two large inviting sitting rooms, and you have the ultimate Devon holiday home or party house.

Play snooker, table tennis or air hockey in the games room, fire up the popcorn machine in the cinema room and settle down for a Netflix or Sky movie, or escape to the living room where you can share stories in the glow of the inglenook fireplace. Head outside to the riverside decking, cocktail in hand, for a lazy afternoon. Play croquet on the lawn, go wild swimming in the river or dip into the hot tub on its own private decking.
