As you enter, feel the sense of space, emphasised by high ceilings and large stone mullion windows. Wander into the library and relax in the cheer of the open fireplace. Retire to the drawing room where the Sonos sound system and piano offer a range of musical possibilities, then seek out the billiards room where a full-size snooker table awaits. From the kitchen, equipped with an American fridge freezer and oil fired Aga, step into a pretty courtyard dining area, which is beside the heated swimming pool. Upstairs, 10 delightful bedrooms with private baths or showers, and named after birds you might spot in the gardens, mix antique furniture with contemporary style and comfort.
Outside, meander through the walled garden and formal lawns to wild flower woodlands, walk through the apple tree avenue and discover the beautiful semi-circular brick folly. It’s the perfect setting for picnics and barbecue. When you are ready to rest, sink into the hot tub and enjoy the views.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Rippon Hall, and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can be parked at Rippon Hall?
There is plenty of space for around 12 cars at Rippon Hall. There is also a high speed EVC point (free of charge).

Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome and cost £50 per pet. Guests should be aware that there is livestock in the fields surrounding the property, so pets must be kept on a lead at all times around the property.

Are children welcome?
Yes. Three cots (one travel cot and two proper cots) and two highchairs are available - please bring your own cot linen.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Well behaved hen and stag parties are sometimes permitted, but only by prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

What size is the swimming pool?
The pool is 8.5 metres by 4 metres. The pool is open all year but is only heated from the beginning of May until the end of October.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose, Tesco or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How close is Rippon Hall to the nearest train station?
Norwich Station is about 26 minutes' drive from the property.

How close is Rippon Hall to the nearest airport?
Norwich Airport is about 13 minutes' drive from the property.

Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks or Chinese lanterns are not permitted at Rippon Hall, due to the rural location of the house and livestock in surrounding fields.

Will you hold a cautionary deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Rippon Hall. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
