It could be straight out of a David Hockney painting. Palmer Oaks is a low slung, California-style house, wrapped around a heated outdoor pool, and hidden in 14 of Surrey’s finest acres. Live your best Hollywood hills life in the more beautiful Surrey hills, as you wander through this light-filled house that blends mid-century style with modern sophistication. Lounge on the cool, curved sofas, watch movies on the big screen, cook a roast dinner in the Miele ovens and serve it in the dining room, where a flowing marquetry wall fills one line of sight and the outdoor view fills another. Full length window walls throughout the living spaces make the transition from inside to outside seamless.
Step onto the terrace and there’s the Hockney-esque California pool. Lounge, swim, splash and drink cocktails, making this space the hub of your summer holiday. Hit the gym for a Peloton challenge, head to the pool house for table tennis and table football, feel the heat in the steam room, and jump into the hot tub while the children jump on the trampoline. Get some steaks grilling on the barbecue and afterwards sink into the wraparound seating, warmed by the firepit. Move in front of the fire in the snug for cosy nights in, before heading to bed.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for 15+ cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Palmer Oaks. Please bring your own travel cots and highchairs. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the outdoor swimming pool and pond in the grounds (unfenced).

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Palmer Oaks, subject to a fee of £25 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Palmer Oaks is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

Are additional day guests allowed at the property?
Sorry, no additional day guests are allowed at the property.

Is the property suitable for those with limited mobility?
Most of the ground floor of the property is on one level and mostly step free (there are also two ground floor bedrooms) however, please note there are two low level steps towards the kitchen / snug living area.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose, Sainsbury's or Ocado for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining room table can seat up to 10 guests. There is a separate kitchen table that seats 8 guests.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £2,000 during your stay at Palmer Oaks. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
