Start your days in the breakfast room, making plans around the great oak table. Each room is furnished with impeccable elegance, imbuing a calm and restful air, and light fills them all through deep sash windows that invite you to explore the gardens.

Once outside, discover the 2.5-acre grounds, where mature evergreen and deciduous trees offer shade and stature. Set up a tennis tournament on the all-weather court, challenge the children to a croquet game, or simply sink into the hot tub and soak up the views. Alternatively, head to the games room in the barn to play table tennis or table football.

Explore the Shropshire countryside, visit the industrial heritage town of Ironbridge, and spend an afternoon at Trentham Gardens. Back at Kingswell House, take drinks out to the south-facing terrace and fire up the barbecue. Or rustle up a celebratory meal in the well-equipped family kitchen. Serve it in the spectacular dining room, where a log burner creates a convivial glow. Afterwards, throw yourselves down into the squidgy sofas in the cinema room for a movie on the huge screen.
