We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Hatherton House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

The swimming pool is available from the end of May until the beginning of September, but closed in the winter months.
Yes. the pool has a Pollock hidden safety cover to keep your family safe and prevent pool related accidents (it will hold an elephant!). It has a keyswitch operated hydraulic mechanism.
Hatherton House is available on a self-catering basis only, although we can introduce you to local caterers and arrange house-keeping during your stay if required.
There is a gardener who has a gardener's building in the grounds (away from the main house). While he may be working in the extensive gardens during your stay (on weekdays only between 7.30am and 5pm), he is very conscious about the privacy of guests and is as discreet as possible.
There is an impressive built-in dining area in the kitchen at Hatherton House that can seat 12 guests comfortably. There is also a separate dining room seating 10.
Yes, there is TP Link (hard Cat5 wired) Wi-Fi everywhere, backed by BT infinity 4 fibre to the home, which is unlimited, the fastest available.
Sorry, no pets are allowed at Hatherton House.
Yes, children are very welcome at Hatherton House. The following are provided for children:
The fireplaces are decorative only and not available for guests to use. However, the house is very cosy and warm throughout.Â
There is parking available for 20+ cars.
Crewe railway station is less than 7 miles away with frequent trains to London Euston taking only 90 minutes. Crewe is a major railway interchange, meaning that both Manchester and Liverpool are also easily accessible.
Manchester airport is approx. 45 minutes' drive from Hatherton House, with Liverpool airport just over an hour away.
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Hatherton House, and check out is at 10am.
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,500 during your stay at Hatherton House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
