For a big celebration beside one of the most picturesque lakes in England, make Fallbarrow Hall your base. This magnificent Victorian Gothic mansion sits in its own private grounds within Fallbarrow Holiday Park, a leafy resort on the shores of Lake Windermere.
A sensitive restoration to this Grade 2 listed gem celebrates its history while leaving you in no doubt that it’s up to the job of hosting a 21st century get together for up to 36 people. Wander from the jazzy cocktail bar to the relaxed TV lounge and take a late-night whisky in the library. After catching a movie in the cinema room, take over the basement games room for pool and table football. There’s even a chill-out room just for the children.
With 18 bedrooms, including two self-contained apartments, Fallbarrow Hall has space for everyone. The bedrooms are gorgeously presented, with William Morris wallpaper here, a crystal chandelier there and sumptuous king size beds everywhere. Some take their inspiration from the Lakeland poets, while others are furnished in a simple, beautiful shaker style. Top tip? Lay claim to the master bedroom with its four-poster bed, separate seating area and roll-top bath.
Outside, enjoy a large private garden with views of the lake or sink into one of the two hot tubs. The holiday park features a fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar, The Willow, a marina directly on Lake Windermere and an adventure playground for the children to enjoy. The Lake District is on your doorstep, with golf, the World of Beatrix Potter, and the pubs, restaurants and shops of Bowness and Ambleside all nearby.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Fallbarrow Hall just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for 16 cars at Fallbarrow Hall.

Is the house suitable for children?
Yes, children are very welcome at Fallbarrow Hall. There is a games room and separate kids' room and cots and high chairs are available on request.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, dogs are allowed in the two apartments located to the rear of the main house (maximum two dogs per apartment). Pets are also allowed on the ground floor within the main house but are not allowed in the bedrooms or on soft furnishings.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table can seat up to 36 people.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Co-Op, Asda or Morrisons for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Fallbarrow Hall is partially accessible for guests with limited mobility. There is an accessible bedroom with wet room and most of the ground floor is accessible. Please discuss individual needs with us prior to booking.
