We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Barlemoor House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
There is ample parking for up to 30 cars.
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose or Sainsbury’s for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Barlemoor House at no extra charge. Additional dogs may be allowed by prior agreement, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.
Sorry, Barlemoor House is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.
Please note, only children over the age of 12 are allowed at Barlemoor House.
The dining table seats up to 18 guests.

Additional day guests can be invited by prior agreement, at a cost of £20 per person, per day. Please note, the maximum capacity must not exceed 30 guests (including those staying at the property) and no children under 12 are allowed at Barlemoor House.
Yes, the caretaker and his wife live in the staff flat adjacent to the house. Please note the flat has separate access and does not impact on the house (windows look out in a different direction to the house).
The nearest train station is Umberleigh (19 miles). However, the best stations to use for mainline services are Tiverton Parkway (31 miles) or Taunton (35 miles).
The nearest airports are Exeter (52 miles) or Bristol (70 miles). Please note there is a private airstrip on the estate suitable for light aircraft by prior arrangement.
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Barlemoor House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
