Waterhouse Manor is situated on an estate with fabulous facilities. Explore the 14 acres of glorious Devon countryside or simply relax on the sun terrace and enjoy the views across to Dartmoor. You can take a dip in the outdoor pool, play tennis, and watch the children burn off their energy in the adventure playground. And, if the Great British weather is making its presence felt, head for the indoor pool, sauna and the soft play area. Then, after a busy day, sink back in the hot tub and watch the stars come out.
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Waterhouse Manor just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Sorry, pets are not allowed at Waterhouse Manor. The Estate does have its own dog, Wilson, a long-haired retriever who is very friendly, but no other pets are allowed.
Yes, children are very welcome. The Manor is baby friendly too, with two traditional wooden (assembled) cots, plus additional 'pop up' travel cots on request (travel cots are not pre-assembled), as well as highchairs and children's tableware. Bed guards and booster seats on request. Note that the Manor doesn't have stair-gates due to the unusually large width of the stairs.
No, sorry, the house is only suitable for family groups.
There is a dining table at Waterhouse Manor that can seat 12 guests comfortably.
Yes, there's a handy utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and drying areas.
The outdoor pool is typically open from the last Bank Holiday in May, closing on the second week in September, subject to weather.
Yes, the indoor pool is available from 8.30am until 8.30pm all year round. It has secure access with a key pad code.
Waterhouse Manor is just a 10-minute drive from Blackpool Sands. Set in an unspoilt, sheltered bay amongst evergreens and pines, this Blue Flag awarded shingle beach is located on the beautiful South Devon heritage coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The nearest train station is Totnes which is 20 minutes' drive away (5.8 miles).
Waterhouse Manor is just under an hour's drive from Exeter Airport (55 minutes).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £500 during your stay at Waterhouse Manor. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
