Loch Lomond House Scotland

Discover the beauty of Scotland

For the true essence of Scotland, where the mountains and forests sweep down to Loch Lomond and yet Glasgow airport is under an hour away, make Loch Lomond House your Highland base. Some 200 years ago or more, the accomplished architect demonstrated a sensitivity to these glorious surroundings and created a gem of elegant lancet windows, arched doorways and solid, weather-beaten stone. Today, you can stand on the terrace and soak up the views before turning indoors to a sanctuary that manages to be both cosy and spacious.

The ground floor oozes style, from the mahogany and deep plum colour scheme to the four-oven family kitchen, complete with Nespresso coffee machine and bread maker. Fill your down-time watching movies in the cinema room, potting balls and sharing a drink at the bar in the games room, and stargazing from the outside hot tub. Then dine on the terrace after exploring the 34-acre estate of wild Highland forest, waterfalls and a wildflower meadow.

At the end of a busy day, when sleep beckons, there are nine bedrooms which offer choices of king-size, single and four-poster beds and even a delightful circular bed. The six luxuriously appointed bathrooms are cool, calm and sophisticated, while views across the loch complete the Scottish experience.

Guest Reviews

Stayed at the wonderful Loch Lomond House for a long weekend. The house is fabulous with something for all ages...The children loved the party room with the disco lights and we all enjoyed the cinema room. The kitchen is so well kitted out you can easily cook for a large crowd and enjoy in the fabulous dining room. I thoroughly recommend this amazing property.
