Step inside a world of stylish monochrome offset by warm hues of oak. Open plan is the only way to go in this contemporary retreat, but with some fun twists, like the sunken seating area, 75-inch TV screen, Sonos sound system and iPad controlled multi-coloured LED lights. The sleek kitchen, with its Elica NikolaTesla hob, hot water tap for instant hot drinks and obligatory air-fryer, is an exemplar of form and function in harmony. You’ll be perfectly happy to be chef, with six of your best people lined up along the marble top island to chop and chat.
And that’s all before you discover the outside space. Here the heated pool, gym, business area and fire pit reside. A covered outdoor kitchen, BBQ hut and games room take away any weather worries, while the annex contains a pool table and living quarters for two lucky people. With a further five cool bedrooms in the main house, bedtime is guaranteed to be restful, and there are enough luxuriously appointed bathrooms to avoid arguments.
For days out, Three Lakes is just up the road, with golf, fishing, Zorbs, a play barn, and more. And the ‘more’ includes a floating assault course! For a slower pace, take a ramble along the River Lea or afternoon tea at nearby Hanbury Manor. Ware High Street is within walking distance and London is under an hour by train.

What to Expect
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Whitestones just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 3pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for 10 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Whitestones. A travel cot is available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Board games, pool inflatables, plastic plates and drinking cups are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the outdoor swimming pool.

Are pets allowed?
Sorry, pets are not allowed at Whitestones.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Whitestones is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table can seat up to 12 guests.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Asda, Tesco or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 3pm on the day of arrival.

Can you recommend any local places to eat out?
Yes, we'd recommend the following restaurants, all within a short distance of the property:

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Whitestones. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
