Nautical blues and whitewashed walls capture the coastal essence of Sea Glass, and the views confirm that this luxury 6-bedroom beach house occupies an unrivalled location. When you arrive, head straight out back to savour views of your own little patch of the West Sussex coast, where a wooden path takes you down to the beach. Back inside, throw off your shoes and your cares in the open plan living space that spans almost the length of the house, with a kitchen, dining room and seating corner and doors onto the patio. When you’re not gazing at the ever-changing seascape, get everyone together in the games room, cinema room or outdoor hot tub. In the summer months, enjoy barbecues, pizzas from the pizza oven, and picnics on the decked dining area, and light the fire pit when the sun goes down. There are paddleboards and kayaks to make the most of the coastal location too.

The six immaculate bedrooms maintain the nautical theme, and all have their highlights, whether it’s an ensuite bathroom, French doors to a Juliet balcony overlooking the sea, or access to a large, sea-facing balcony. Sea Glass also has the best view from a bath you are ever likely to find. Five of the bedrooms are upstairs, while a sixth is more easily accessible on the ground floor.

Sea Glass is situated in a rare, unspoilt village on the West Sussex coast. It’s just over half an hour from Chichester and also convenient for the Goodwood races. If you have a larger party, book Sea Glass in conjunction with sister property Sea Star, just a few minutes walk up the beach.

What we think

Sea Glass is the gorgeous smaller twin of Sea Star (and can be booked together for bigger groups). Just like Sea Star, it has access from the terrace straight onto the beach along with magical views and lovely beachy interior design.

What to Expect

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Sea Glass just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.
How many cars can park at the property?

There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway. More parking is available on the road.
Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at Sea Glass. A travel cot, highchair and baby gate are available on request and children's cutlery is also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the proximity of the beach and around the hot tub area.
Are pets allowed?

Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Sea Glass, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.
Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Sorry, Sea Glass is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.
Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Aldi or Lidl for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining table can seat up to 12 guests comfortably.
What is the nearest train station?

The nearest train stations are Ford (5 miles), Littlehampton (5 miles), Arundel (7.5 miles) or Chichester (10 miles).
What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is London Gatwick (45 miles).
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £800 during your stay at Sea Glass. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
