A book-lined snug opens into a comfortable living room with a 65-inch TV, wraparound sofa and rich grey-green walls creating a cosy atmosphere. In contrast, light spills into the kitchen-diner through bifold doors to the patio. Here, you can conjure up meals, snacks and drinks without missing out on the party. A seating area before a wood-burning stove makes a story-telling spot for wintry evenings, while its counterpart firepit in the garden is the place to spill out to on summer nights.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 3pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am.

How many cars can park at the property?
Please note there is no designated parking for Avonfields House. There are some spaces for street parking opposite the house (restricted) or there is cost effective, 24 hour parking a 3-minute walk away at Morrisons – via Ringo / YourParkingSpace. The current daily charge for 24hrs is £6. EV charging is also available at this car park.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Sainsbury's or Morrisons for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 3pm on the day of arrival.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Avonfields House. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children as there is a wood-burning stove and fire pit.

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Avonfields House, subject to a fee of £100 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Respectful hen and stag parties are permitted, subject to prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table can seat up to 8 guests. There is a separate breakfast bar that can seat 4 guests.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Avonfields House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
