Room to do it your way

When it’s time to eat, your options are limited only by your imagination. Chat to our chef and design their own dinner based on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. We work with local farmers and suppliers to make sure we use as much local produce as we can. Depending on how big your appetite is dinner ranges from £40 to £65 per person.  We also offer a ‘Full Fox’ package from £75 per person including all dining. Why not laze in the lounge with your favourite tipple from our well-stocked drinks station that contains soft drinks, tea and coffee, house champagne, beers and house wines. And then enjoy a bite to eat or a glass of something in the cosy bar where we have a great range of local beverages to sample. Wine buffs will love exploring the cellar with our hosts on hand to help you pick the perfect wine to go with your meal. And, of course, any time you feel like a snack, just ask!

Sleep, perfect sleep

line

There are five wonderful bedrooms and three sumptuous suites, each individually designed and unique. As you’d expect they all come with bathrobes and slippers, wonderfully fluffy towels, soft and luxurious bed line, free WiFi, tea and coffee makers, TVs and hairdryers. But there so so much more. The Beech and Hazel suites each have two tellies, a separate lounge and the most fantastic bathroom with a side claw-foot tub and a large walk-in shower!  The Oak Suite is a favourite with honeymooners, probably because of the twin set of freestanding bath tubs looking out through the bay window to the Cotswolds. Plus, of course, the dining area, the comfy seating and the magnificent four-poster bed! And if the bedrooms are slightly smaller, they certainly don’t skimp on luxury. The  Juniper room, for example, has one of the biggest bathrooms in place with twin sinks, a glorious walk-in shower and a freestanding roll top tub. The king-sized bed can be converted to twins and, as it is on the ground floor, this bedroom is ideal for guests with restricted mobility. The Chestnut is one of our biggest and brightest bedrooms, again a bathroom with a freestanding tub and a large walk-in shower. We love the king-size four-poster bed set in front of a trendy tree-painted panel, as well as the modern chaise longue, and the dining table. And for something a bit quirky, right at the top of the house the Maple room with its red curved sofa and curtained-off bed is just fabulous! But all of the rooms are fantastic. The Birch has arguably the best views and the Willow feels like a contemporary country cottage. Whatever room you have, no-one in your party will have anything less than total luxury,

8 Bedrooms & Suites

Willow Bedroom

With all the cosiness of a contemporary country cottage, Willow is a dual aspect first floor room with ornamental floral-pattern wallpapers and a traditional wrought iron kingsize bed. The bathroom, metro-tiled in muted grey, has a walk-in shower big enough for two, and a garden view, roll top tub set in front of the window.

At a glance…

  • 40sq m
  • Wrought iron kingsize bed
  • Sofa and chair
  • Dressing table/desk
  • Nespresso coffee machine
  • Satellite TV
  • Tablet and digital radio
  • Free WiFi
  • Ensuite with freestanding roll top bath, walk-in shower and Temple Spa products
  • Bathrobes and slippers
  • Hairdryer
  • Air conditioning

Look out for… …Nina Campbell’s gloriously floral wallpaper – the stylised hydrangea pattern is named ‘Corsham’, after nearby Corsham Court in Wiltshire, the historic home of the Methuen family.

Maple Bedroom

One for the rockstars, this. Maple is a cosy crow’s nest of a room, set at the very top of the Manor. The kingsize bed is curtained off from the rest of the room, giving you the impression of sleeping in a (unusually comfortable) Bedouin tent. Opposite the bed, a big red curved sofa and beanbag help create the perfect ‘afterparty’ atmosphere, and the mid-century marquetry desk makes the most of Maple’s sweeping second floor views.

At a glance…

  • Curtained-off sleeping area with kingsize bed
  • Huge corner sofa and beanbag

Look out for… …the reclaimed wood carvings above the bath.

Birch Bedroom

Set at the heart of the Manor on the first floor, Birch may well have the most jaw-dropping views in the house (best enjoyed from the fur topped chair in the giant Anglepoise lit reading nook). Its windows look out over the Vale of Evesham, all the way to the Black Mountains of Wales, and its serene blue bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and a freestanding roll-top tub.

Juniper Bedroom

A huge ground floor room gently accented in turquoise pastels, Juniper has one of the biggest bathrooms in Foxhill. Reached via a walk through wardrobe, the ensuite features twin sinks separated by a long window seat, a very big walk-in shower and, in the middle, a freestanding roll top tub. Topped with an oversized buttonback headboard, the kingsize bed can be converted to twins. Juniper is the most suitable option for mobility impaired guests.

At a glance…

  • 55sq m
  • Kingsize bed or twins
  • Seating area with sofa, chair and footrest
  • Dressing table
  • Walk-in wardrobe

  • Huge ensuite with twin sinks, freestanding roll top bath, walk-in shower and Temple Spa products
  • Bathrobes and slippers
  • Hairdryer
  • Air conditioning

Look out for… …the Comback Chair by legendary Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola. An update of the classic Windsor armchair design, it’s a stylish symbol of the past meeting the present. Just like the Manor itself, really.

Chestnut Bedroom

On the southwest wing of the first floor, Chestnut is one of Foxhill’s biggest bedrooms, with triple aspect windows that ensure it’s flooded with light. Accessed through a little hallway (which opens into a bathroom with a freestanding tub and a gratifyingly large walk-in shower), it’s dominated by a kingsize four poster bed set in front of a subtly chic tree painted panel. As well as a modern chaise longue, positioned to make the most of the views, there’s also a dining table with space for four.

  • Air conditioning

Look out for… …the room name mirror trick in the hallway. (You’ll see what we mean).

Beech Suite

Overlooking the front of the Manor from the first floor, Beech is a minimalist but welcoming classic style suite dressed in calming taupe and mustard yellow. It’s a relaxed, watching-TV-in-bed sort of suite, with a cosy separate lounge area, accessible from both the bedroom and the private entry corridor, (with another TV in case you disagree about programme choices), and a big metro tiled bathroom with a window side claw-foot tub and a large walk-in shower to boot.

  • 65sqm

Look out for… …the suite’s resident five fat ballet dancers, pirouetting on the bedroom shelves.

Hazel Suite

Overlooking the back of the Manor from the first floor, Hazel is a minimalist but welcoming classic style suite. It’s a relaxed, watching-TV-in-bed sort of suite, with a cosy separate lounge area, accessible from the private corridor, (with another TV in case you disagree about programme choices), and a big metro tiled bathroom with a claw-foot tub and a large walk-in shower to boot.

Oak Suite

Suites don’t come more romantic than Oak. This is Foxhill’s most in demand option for honeymooners – most likely because of the twin set of freestanding bath tubs in prime Cotswold admiring position by the bay window (with a table in between for the champagne bucket, naturally). Beside them is a contemporary wood framed four poster and behind, a cosy lounge area facing the feature fireplace. Decorated in warm, earthy tones and adorned with nature inspired artworks, Oak has a dining area with space for four and comfy seating beside every window.

At a glance…

  • 70sq m
  • Kingsize four-poster bed
  • Twin freestanding baths
  • Fireside lounge area with sofa and designer armchairs
  • Dining table
  • Walk-in wardrobe and dressing table
  • Nespresso coffee machine
  • Satellite TV
  • Tablet and digital radio
  • Free WiFi
  • Ensuite with walk-in shower and Temple Spa products
  • Bathrobes and slippers
  • Hairdryer

Look out for… …the harmonious mix of design styles: the four poster is a bespoke contemporary work, the two restored Bruno Mathsson ‘Jetson’ recliners are classic pieces of Swedish Mid-century modern design, and the fireplace and display niches date back a century to the Manor’s first incarnation as a family home.
