My Own Castle (1)

My Own Castle Scotland

A exclusive castle in Edinburgh, just for you

Have you ever dreamed of being the laird of the manor with your own nineteenth century Scottish Castle set in 32 acres of manicured gardens and woodland walks? Now you can make that dream come true. Well, at least for a few days! This strikingly beautiful Victorian home can sleep 18 people. It is fitted out to the highest standards and, if you don’t want just to relax and soak up the sheer luxury of the place, there are plenty of activities available to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

When we say that this castle is stylish, boy do we mean it. Contemporary furnishings and modern fixtures abound and the luxury extends to every aspect of this wonderful property. Full housekeeping and catering service is provided by the Castle Team. Perhaps best of all, it is easy to get to, being close to Edinburgh Airport. And that means it is easy to journey into the heart of Scotland’s capital city with its fantastic amenities. And it’s just as easy to get away from it all in the heart of the Scottish countryside.

Guest Reviews

Everything was truly amazing, from the staff to the food and the castle interiors. Our friends and family were blown away! Loved every minute and special thanks to Ailsa and Laura and the team on the big day for making me feel so special and calm! The day was perfect.

Do as much (or as little) as you want!

Just outside there are 32 acres of countryside, gardens, and wild Roe deer with plenty of opportunity to ramble around the estate. The Walled Garden has an all-weather tennis court and carefully manicured lawns perfect for croquet and boules. Let us know in advance and we can organise all sorts of activities to keep you all busy: personal training, falconry, quad biking, cycling, barbecues and picnics.

This being Scotland, there are plenty of golf courses closeby. In fact, there are more than 80 golf courses within a 20 mile radius of Edinburgh! And, of course, there are the wonders of Edinburgh to explore (one of our favourite cities in the world). Edinburgh abounds with things to do outdoors all year round. Explore cobbled streets, and ancient alleys.  Potter round the stylish boutiques and gift shops; head to the bustling streets of George and Princes Streets, or the Grassmarket and, of course, the famous Royal Mile. You can easily explore the architecture, history, shops, theatres and museums on foot and there are wonderful restaurants, pubs and cafes if you want a wee rest.

Whatever you choose to do, it’s always nice to relax at the end of it all, so we can organise a yoga session or a tailored massage specially for you. And we can arrange for professional make-up artists, manicurists and hairdressers to prepare you for that special occasion, whatever it may be.

And we know how to party too! If you want your evening to end with a bang rather than a whimper, we can lay it on in to the max! Just ask!
