A successful blend of contemporary design and period details, Kirton Manor has everything you might wish for in a getaway with friends, family or business colleagues. From the dramatic entrance hall, big enough for dancing, to the cosy drawing room where you can retire for evening drinks in front of a roaring fire.

There’s enough to keep everyone occupied, from the oak panelled games room for friendly tournaments to the smart gym for keeping your regime up while you’re away. Or, for more relaxed entertainment, catch a movie in the private cinema room. Outdoors, spend a few hours with a book in the sunny courtyard, play croquet on the lawns and then sink into the Swedish hot tub and gaze at the starlit sky.

Dinner and lunch can be served in the elegant dining room or taken more causally in the kitchen, with views over the gardens. Butler service is available to help with the smooth running of your holiday or celebration, and catering packages can also be arranged, so that all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your break.

Ensuites are as individual as the quirkily named bedrooms, some with freestanding rolltop baths, others with rainforest showers, and all with details that matter, such as high-end toiletries and luxury towelling robes and slippers. Merryman and Sea Change bedrooms share a huge Jack and Jill bathroom, while all the other rooms have their own ensuite.
