Guest reviews

Lulworth House is a place to make lifelong memories - plenty of space to chill and read a book or enjoy the many sofa areas and have lovely conversations with family or friends. Sam was very helpful and at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The pool is stunning and the location is amazing if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the most beautiful area in Dorset.

Stunning, amazing - wow! This house was a joy to stay in. The attention to detail was incredible. Every guest room had a theme and every ensuite was unique! The house provided for everything and if you ever did need anything then the house manager was on hand! The location is superb in the small cove inlet area of West Lulworth and the views amazing! Not to mention the pool and games room. Highly recommended.

Amazing!! That’s the only word I can use. The hospitality and everything was just perfect. The house manager Sam, was so helpful and always so responsive with questions I had. I celebrated my engagement and birthday party here. Really spacious and the swimming pool and games room is definitely the highlight. Kept everyone entertained during the rainy days! Will definitely be going again.

Walking in the footsteps of an Angel

This is prime walking country, make no mistake! Those of you familiar with Thomas Hardy will know that it was hereabouts that he visualised the sleepwalking Angel Clare carrying Tess of the D’Urbervilles. And what a place to walk! With inspirational views, abundant wildlife and fascinating archaeology and history, this area has a little ‘wow’ around every corner. There is so much to see: the magnificent Durdle Door, the beaches, Lulworth Castle with its beautiful park where you can play pitch ‘n’ putt, swing-ball, giant Jenga, noughts and crosses, and boules. Nearby you will find quaint country pubs, tearooms, and timeless thatched cottages. But you don’t even have to leave the house to have a fun time. As well as the indoor heated saline swimming pool (with a paddling pool for the kiddies), the house has a games room with table tennis, board games, and entertainment systems. So the scene is set for you to have an amazing time in this wonderfully secluded property.
