Situated on the edge of Cheltenham with the Cotswolds as your playground, Crofton Lodge is a nine-bedroom dream home-from-home with space for up to 24 guests and a private annexe for two that you can book separately.
The chic interiors match white walls with light oak fixtures. Bursts of colour and texture - a deep pink wall here, faux fur bench covers there - hint that this luxury pad is about more than just swanning around looking sophisticated. You can splash about in the indoor pool then soak up the sun at the pool’s edge after flinging open the wall of bifold doors. Get your ping pong and pool skills up to scratch in the games room and snug then head outside where the goals are set up for a game of footie and the one-acre grounds are large enough to find a quiet spot but intimate enough to make the party rock.
If you do fancy swanning around looking sophisticated, you’ll love preparing cocktails in the sleek kitchen, finding just the right notes for the Sonos sound system or laying the huge dining room table for your dinner party. Later, chill out in the sociable sitting room or set up a movie from your Netflix account in the snug.
The nine bedrooms (two of which are on the ground floor) have a variety of single, double and super-king beds and there is a combination of ensuite and shared bathrooms. Get upstairs early to bagsy the master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower, dressing room and a balcony to take your morning coffee.
Crofton Lodge is just the place for a long-overdue gathering of friends or family, a special celebration or even a happy hen do. As a base for Cheltenham Races, it’s perfect and if you fancy a meander around the Cotswolds, it would be hard to find a better location.

What to Expect
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Crofton Lodge just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a family group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival at Crofton Lodge, and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

There is parking for 7 cars at Crofton Lodge (9 at a squeeze).

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Sainsbury's, Tesco or Waitrose for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

The dining table can seat up to 28 guests.

Children are very welcome at Crofton Lodge. One travel cot and one highchair are available on request (please bring your own cot bed linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times due to the indoor pool (the pool area does have closable doors).

Hen parties are permitted at Crofton Lodge. Stag parties are sometimes permitted, but only by prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Crofton Lodge. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
