Araden Manor The South Coast

Edwardian elegance in the heart of Sussex... perfect for family and friends

From the moment you enter the sweeping drive to this 5-acre estate, you just know good times are ahead. Sociability is at the heart of Araden Manor in Sussex. From the Christian-style kitchen - with squishy sofas so you can keep the chef company - to the elegant drawing room, complete with bar, this is somewhere for family and friends to create lasting memories.

The details are delightful, from the games room with ‘Bijou’ mezzanine floor to four poster beds in four of the five beautifully appointed bedrooms. Outside, take your coffee in the morning sunshine at the front of the manor, where there’s plenty of seating with views across the parterre gardens. Behind the manor, the Sundowner garden is a sun trap where you can capture the evening rays as you sip cocktails or take a dip in the outdoor pool. Explore further, down the avenue of yew trees, to find a dreamy woodland setting with seating and a firepit area.

There’s also an outdoor hot tub, a secret garden which the children will love, and an eclectic mix of resident animals including Patsy and Eddie the friendly micro pigs, and Starsky and Hutch the miniature Shetland ponies!
